i'm loving my life right now! i recently quit my job. It was horrible. So now i'm enjoying my days of freedom and spending time with my completely wonderful husband and we're both awaiting the ultrasound that shows if we are having a boy or a girl (i can't wait!) pregnancy has been interesting so far. I've had morning sickness the whole time. But it's starting to get better but we're so excited about the baby... Oregon is beautiful and i'm anxious to see what God has planned for us this fall...

Things.

I was lying awake last night curled up in my husbands arms, just listening to him fall asleep; it's one of the most peaceful places to be. As I relaxed in to the rhythm of his breaths I began to think about all the things in my life.

There are certain things from my past that I miss... certain ideas that got lost along the way. Then there are things currently that I feel I miss from day to day. Some of these things I crave more than others... and some just pop up in the back of my mind at the end of the day.

So I began to make a list and decided I would find a way to get back to some of the things I miss...

  • Fellowship- the kind that leaves you standing in the parking lot for hours after the lights were turned off and all the doors were locked.
  • Chasing the Mystery of Christ with other believers- this one kind of goes hand-in-hand with fellowship, but there's purposefulness about it.
  • Feeling like I'm making a difference- I don't think this one needs explaining.

I think I'll just share these three for now...

There are so many things going right in my life at this point, it's hard to think about what needs to be "worked on" However I've discovered, once again, that it's so easy to become complacent...

it's time to step up and do something.
